Dil-e-Muztar ko samjhaya bahot hai
Magar is dil ne tadpaya bahot hai

Even the thought of separation is lethal
He has crossed my mind intensely

Qayamat hai ye tarq-e-aarzoo bhi
Mujhe aksar wo yaad aaya bahot hai

Smiling, shyness and ignorance too
This way of atrocity has fonded me intensely

Tabassum bhi, haya bhi, berukhi bhi
Ye andaz-e-sitam bhaya bahot hai

In this journey of going on life
The shadows of your memory, surrounded me intensely

Rahi hasti ke is chalte safar me
Tumhari yaad ka saya bahot hai . . .
